Jean's Birthday @ Traders, Baan26 & Velvet
Saturday, January 26, 2008
For her Birthday, Jean decided to get the four of us a room @ Traders hotel for one night!
Yes, we are very happening and indeed, we heart Traders a lot.
Staying in Traders twice in 1 month!
The staff must think we are either very happening or have nothing else better to do.
I prefer going with the "we are very happening" bit.
Jean's Birthday @ Traders, Dinner @ Baan 26 & Clubbing @ Velvet (12th January, 2007)
The view from our room on the 17th floor.
Chilling on the bed! It's soooo huge.
Our favourite alcohol. Thing is, we brought this and we didn't even take a sip! Didn't need it after what went on during clubbing later on.
The livable loo. Couldn't resist snapping a pic of it.
Me & Jeanie in the bathrobes! Felt sooooo spoilt. Jean looks quite hamsap if you ask me.
All ready for dinner!
Dinner @ Baan26, Jalan Alor. It's a Thai Restaurant.
Our food:
Pandan Leaf Chicken. Was not too bad but definitely had better.
Kangkung Belacan. Standard stuff. Nothing special.
Tom Yam Soup. One of the better ones.
Some Squid Chili thingy. So-so.
Fried Tofu. Omg. I love this dish. This; was my favourite of the night. I OD'd on it. FYI, I really dislike tofu but dang! This stuff is goooood!
After a satisfying dinner, we all went back to the hotel room and chilled for a bit before getting ready to go for our night out!
Posing in the loo. It's fun. You ought to try it.
Joh picked us up and we're off to Velvet!
Joh, Me & Allan chilling @ the Terrace Bar before entering Velvet.
Ju, Son & Me.
Posing with Joh's Dolce & Gabbana's!
Joh with the Four of Us.
Partyqueen & Misswishful.
Me & Bubu.
With the Birthday Girl.
Me, Allan & Jeanpants.
Chee Tiong & Me.
Me & Mabel.
Min Yen & Me.
Justin, Me, Allan & Jean. The brothers & the sisters.
Once the alcohol kicks in.
With Michael.
With Rodney.
Yu Meng, Me & Quek. The sisters ex's, lol.
With Jeff.
With Samantha.
More loo pictures; it's starting to be a clubbing routine:
Krystal & Me. Yes, I know the cubicles behind is a slight turn off.
With the Birthday Girl.
I've no idea why I took a pic of Zouk but I did. I must've been quite out.
We went back around 4ish and for once, all four of us were drunk.
We were in the hotel room laughing about the most unfunny things.
We even managed to stay up until 6am to go for Trader's breakfast!
And by gosh!!
The breakfast was phenomenal.
Actually, the FOOD was not that phenomenal but the food PRESENTATION definitely was.
It's like, they're encouraging you to be extremely greedy and take more than you can consume.
Everything all looked so darn good!!
Didn't taste the best though. I guess the presentation just overtook the taste of the food.
But it was enjoyable nonetheless.
After breakfast, we all zonked until about 11am and went for a bit of sun at the Sky Bar!
Tanning @ Sky Bar.
The Pool.
Only 3 of us. Poor Ju had to leave early because she had prior obligations with her Mom and couldn't get out of it.
Sonzy.
Jeanie.
Moi.
The view from Sky Bar.
I like the Twin Towers. It's probably the prettiest thing in Malaysia. So I take lots and lots of pics of it!
And that's how Jean's Birthday went!
A little message to Jean before I go:
To the superglue that holds us together,
First of all, I'd like to say how incredibly blessed I am to have a wonderful friend like you. It's been an incredible 6 years of unconditional friendship that we've shared and know that cherished always will those memories be in my heart.
Thank you so much for all the countless times you've been there for me, your more than patient ways, understanding me from inside out, and your most appreciated advice and thoughts you'd always share.
And do forgive me if there were any times at all that I may have upset, disappoint, frustrate or hurt you in any way. I'm sure you know that I would never intend for it to happen.
Not too long from now, we will be going our separate ways, and DANG GIRL, I'm gonna miss you like mad! Let's just hope and pray that our paths will somehow cross again and we'd live up to our favourite bestie quote; Best Friends Forever :)
Hope you had a blast on your Birthday and love you tons!!
HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY!!
xoxo,
Nat.

Anonymous: Thanks alot :) Actually, I'm kinda cheap on the treatmnent thing but I like to do the D.I.Y way ;) You can go pick up the cream (brand of your personal liking but I use Loreal) and do it yourself! And if I were to be honest, I'm completely unhappy with my hair. I'd love to have it straightened but I'm almost out of hair so I don't think it'd be a good idea :(
Anonymous2: LOL. I'll tell her that ;) Thanks on her behalf!
Meilo: Thanks! Haha. Ng's are awesome, wheee.
Anonymous3: White belt from Mambo is from 1utama and I think RM15.90? Can't quite recall. Gold belt from Velvet is from....... oh, gosh. I have no clue. Erm, I think Cineleisure? And nope, not more than RM30. You're welcome :)
Jacq: It's actually from Bangkok and I got it for RM18 I think? Haha. And no, I don't think I'd get bored. Probably lazy ;) But whenever I'm free, I won't leave questions unanswered! As long as it doesn't get too tedious.
