IELTS & Kim, Brian & Ying Hoe's Birthday @ Shogun

OMG!!!
I swear, it took approximately half an hour to load this cursed page up!!
FRUSTRATING MUCHHH???
Jeez. What's a girl gotta do to blog around here?
Anyway, I just sat for my IELTS paper this morning (hence, the lack of updates due to preparation) and HOO BOY, I'd be lucky to graze a 6.5.
(A 6.5/9 is needed for me to transfer over to Canada, mind)
Let's make this clear:
Please, stop spreading around this rumour that IELTS/TOEFL is easy peasy.
Well, unless you're a brain.... HECK, even if you ARE a brain, please be humble a bit and stop bragging about how easy it is because IT IS NOT!!!
Technically, it's not incomprehensibly difficult but it sure ain't EASY.
So those who are going to take IELTS or TOEFL in the future, PLEASE BE FULLY PREPARED.
I am now fully aware how unprepared I was. I THOUGHT I was actually... prepared, that is... but well, after completing the exam, I was positively sure I wasn't.
The LISTENING was not too bad. You need to be on a roll with this one. The problem with this section is, the minute you miss a blank, your chances of missing the next and next and next is pretty high because you get so distracted and disorientated by missing the first blank!
The READING was pretty tedious but it was still answerable. I hope to get the best score for this section.
The WRITING was a major blunder for me because I made a mistake of writing TASK 2 in the sheet meant for TASK 1 (only 2 tasks for writing) so that was quite bewildering for me and I ended up having lack of time to write my essay due to correcting my careless mistake. In conclusion, I wrote a crap essay. A 5 year-old could interpret my kiddy essay and could probably point out a few errors here and there.
The SPEAKING was not TOO shabby... I had a really nice examiner. She seemed really interested in listening to what I had to say. I guess I'd consider myself lucky because I was her 2nd student to be examined so she's not sick and tired yet and therefore managed to smile occasionally when I make a trying-tuh-be-funny remark. I made a slight boo boo though. I had this odd spasm trying to pronounce the word... "Rural." DAMMIT. I should've chosen another word. Jeez. Outskirts or something, at the very least!!! Why'd I have to say RURAL??!!!
(Unimportant note: I bet Andrew & Pin can't pronounce that word at all. Probably end up sounding something like, "Wruwral" or something)
I'm just so disheartened right now.
Smack myself for yumcha-ing until 1am the previous night. I should've taken this more seriously.
On a lighter note...
