Answer to Riddles, BBQ Plaza & Movie Reviews

Sorry for the delay to the answers of the riddles.

Gosh, hasn't it been the BEST weather lately though?

Just makes me wanna sleep whole day and wake up only to eat or watch TV.

Lucky for me it's the holidays too :)

I get to indulge myself in sleep these days.

Even blogging now feels so relaxing.

Since the removal of my aircond in my upstairs hall, I daren't touch the comp if it happened to be a humid, humid day.

But these days... weather's fantastic!!

Not great for outdoorseys stuff (haven't had tennis in TWO weeks!), but otherwise...

Doesn't feel at all like being in Malaysia!

Well, I'm sure you've noticed I ain't a very patriotic person.

Answer to Hat Riddle

Which dude won't be shot in the head then?

Oh, in case you've forgotten how the riddle goes, I'll take the liberty to copy and paste the question again:

Just say those 4 upside down cones are 4 men. A killer who had a gun, was about to shoot them in the head. But first, he'd like the play a game. He buried the 4 men up until their necks (in which case they cannot turn their heads) and positioned them as the above. All of which heads are facing the wall. Yes, that includes the one on the far left. He was facing the wall too.
The killer then puts 2 black hats and 2 white hats in a black, white, black, white sequence (well, of course, the 4 people DON'T KNOW it's in THAT particular sequence).
Finally, the killer asks, "Any of you that can guess what colour hat you are wearing, you won't be shot in the head."
Naturally, they CANNOT see what hat they are wearing LA.

So, the question is, WHICH dude, would be able to give the most accurate answer?

And the answer is...

Let's put it this way.

If the hats were arranged in any of these sequence:
The person on the far right would be able to guess what hat he's wearing!
(You must know that the only knowledge he has is there are 4 people and 2 white hats and 2 black hats).

But I did stress that the hats were arrange in a B-W-B-W sequence...
Plus, the killer isn't stupid enough to arrange it in the other 4 sequences above because the person on the far right would be able to guess in a jiffy what hat he was wearing!
(Well, if you must, the outcome will still be the same if arranged in a W-B-W-B sequence).

Because once the 2nd person from the right realizes that the person on the far right is not able to guess what hat HE'S wearing, it is automatic that the 2nd person from the right would know he is wearing a hat that is the opposite colour of the person in front of him! (the person 3rd from the right).

Answer to Coin Riddle

Clickety-click for the Coin Riddle.

And the answer is (observe carefully!):

Which I clearly state MUST be done. The minute you leave an empty space, you MUST fill it up in your next move.

If you're really bored, you can go asking all your friends this riddle and watch them fiddle with the coins like a bunch of weirdos.

Haha! That's what we did anyway.

Dinner with Ju & Jean @ BBQ Plaza, 1 utama (27th July, 2007)

Ever heard of the place?

I'm sure you have!

They constantly advertise on those TV's in 1 utama!

You know, the people who roar like lions and their faces become disorted and scary and everyone starts roaring together like lions after eating in BBQ Plaza.

The advert certainly is misleading. I was reluctant to eat there after watching it. That's what you call a BAD advert.

Anyway, Jean's hooked to the place and she made all of us hooked to it too!

It's like, a cheaper version of Korean Barbecue! Except you gotta cook 'em food yourself lar.

You know, the thing that makes food great is always...

ALWAYS the sauce/gravy/extra spices/added filling etc etc!!

In this case, it's the barbecue sauce that's YUMMYLICIOUS!!!

With all these ingredients put together, you get:

Then, you mix mix mix it up and you dip all your cooked food in it!!

The 3 of us ate the MIX FAMILY PLATTER which is enough for 3-4 pax mind...

And even after that, we were still HUNGRY!! Well, not hungry per se.

But hungry enough to eat more!!

This was the amount of food we had that we gobbled up within the half hour:

It's really quite large, each plate.

So you cook the meat on the curved area where as the teensy longkang surrounding it is for the soup!

Originally, the soup is pretty tasteless on it's own.

But throw in the cabbage slices, tomato slices and other veggie in and you have a pretty tasty soup!

For added taste (my preference), you can upgrade your plain white rice, to garlic fried rice!

I always upgrade it. I like the garlic fried rice alot!!

The pic came out a tad bit yellow.

But it's really quite good!

Ju, cooking!

Me, posing. Haha. I don't need to stand up to cook... WINK, WINK.

Craving for Korean Barbecue but almost utterly broke?

BBQ Plaza, the way to go!!

RM29/= for 2 pax and RM39/= for 3-4 pax.

Wah, I'm super promoting this place.

They ought to give me some advertizing fee lor!

Oh, well.

Movie Review

The Invisible
Ever seen the trailer? Looked promising, didn't it? Well, it sure did for me. I even put it up under My Most Anticipated Movies 2007!

Actually the build up for the movie was still all right. Even half-way through the movie, seemed as though there was gonna be a twist at the end or some canggih ending at least!
But the ending...
Even I could write and direct a better ending. Sheesh-ka-bob lor!!
I should think that you guys shouldn't waste your money on this movie.
If you must however watch it, just honestly... go share with your friends to buy a DVD. Or borrow it off someone who got conned into buying the DVD thinking it was gonna be an awesome movie.

Brilliant! A Must-See!
Exceed Expectations. Two Thums Up!
Satisfactory. Enjoyable.
Mediocre. Very Average.
Bored to Tears. Almost Slept.
Fuctionally Retarded. Left Cinema.

Rise: Blood Hunter
Just watched this yesterday. Am I up to date or what?
Well, let's just say Drew and I decided that we could've used our RM20/= we spent for movie tickets to do other more worthwhile things.
We concluded that buying The Simpsons DVD and watching it again and tapau 2 Mango Loh would be more worthwhile.
Honestly, what on earth is Lucy Liu doing starring in an incredibly dumb movie like this? This movie is even WORSE than The Invisible. Least the latter had potential to be a good movie!
This movie... CANNOT MAKE IT!!
From start to end!!!
Andrew predicted everything OUTLOUD (I think the people around us might've been slightly annoyed) before it happened.
We even almost left the cinema to re-watch The Simpsons.
But I just had to know if the ending was gonna be as dumb as the rest of the movie so ended up staying.
I shouldn't have waste my time lor!!
DON'T.. even bother with a DVD. This show is NOT worth watching AT ALL. Complete waste of time and brain use.
Unless you wanna witness how bad Nick Lachey's acting is.

Zillieman: Yay! Glad you remembered :) I remember back in Form 3 was when I kept forcing you to remember my birthday... you really were bad at remembering birthdates! Haha. Good for me then! (Hope you didn't cheat)

Lala: Definitely sucked poo. Good for you though, I wasted RM20/= on myself altogether :(

Ann: Haha. That place is addictive, isn't it? And yep, Jean is.
