Farewell @ Sammie's (25th April, 2008)
Just a small get together with quite a bit of booze ;)
With Jon Bon Jovi.
Sonzy & Marc.
Me & Drewy :( Boo. I miss him.
Le Booze.
Jean arrives!
And we start with the Malibuuu.
Shake that thang.
Our favourite drink ;)
Sammie's booze.
As the alcohol kicked in...
Wheeee!!
Wooooooo!
Yippeeee!! Not bad, eh?
Woowwieee!!
Good times, good times.
Ha-ha.
Deep in thought...
Brian's finger.
Trying to build the KL tower. Failed miserably.
So we attempted the Taj Mahal instead!
Our Taj Mahal. Haha. I thought it wasn't too shabby.
We crashed it and tried something else. We like to build stuff.
A dome.
Son's artistic picture of Drew & Gavin.
Photo montage:
HHHEAHEHAHEHAHEHEHAHA!!! I still can't get over Brian's face here!! Sooooo cute!!
Drug addicts.
Sad Sonzy... :((
Major close-up of Jean & Daniel.
Bri says his cam lenses makes it impossible to camho.
Nothing is impossible:
Queen of camho-ing. Haha.
'Twas a good night.

Raphael's Birthday Dinner @ Bora Asmara (26th April, 2008)
This restaurant is in some really secluded place in Kampung Penchalar. Somewhere near the Penchalar Link. Is that how you spell it? Sorry, I'm so Canadian now I can't spell Malay words anymore. Yeah, right.
Ju, Me, Jean & Donmichael. Stole it off Cris' (Raph's & Don's brother) cam.
Pretty decent mushroom soup.
I remember this thingy from our favourite chick flick, The Sweetest Thing. Haha. So funny.
Deep fried tilapia fish. Pretty good.
The place is pretty nice. Somewhat the concept of Tamarind Springs (of course, not nearly as power) but they serve like a mix of Thai & Balinese stuff.
It was pretty humid outside so after dinner, we dashed for the air-conditioning indoors.
And started taking pictures of ourselves.
Jean: Picnic mat. Me: Picnic umbrella.
Sigh!
Blogging about my last week in Malaysia makes me miss home so much :(
But so far, I really like Vancouver.
I haven't made much friends yet (although I met a couple of Malaysians in a club on Friday which was awesome) since I haven't started classes (I'll be starting tomorrow), but it's all good.
I have a nice place to stay in, the weather's pretty awesome, the people here are super friendly and laid-back, cars don't want to run you down when you walk on the street, and put aside the exchange rate, the stuff here is pretty decent in price.
The great thing is, I stay only a bus stop away from the biggest shopping mall in Vancouver.
How awesome is THAT!
Anyhow, I need to go off now to get ready for some Jap dinner.
Everyone here loves Jap so there's a zillion Jap restaurants around! Good for me :)
Alrighty then, 'til next time!!

hi, i really love these photos of urs! wat camera do u use? hope u're settling well in canada :>
what's the brand and colour name of the contact lenses you were wearing? looks really nice :)
jun: actually, the camera we were playing around with was brian's camera. you can check out his blog: www.imgine.blogspot.com and ask him precisely what SLR he's using :)
anonymous: the brand is seaview (very unpopular, i know... not even sure where you can get it but i get mine from my uncle but you could ask around) and the color is... erm, brown or hazel? only one type of brown so shouldn't be a confusion there. and thanks! :)
