Finally finished editing and uploading 1/3 of the pictures!!
I've no idea how we ended up snapping SOOO many pictures!
It was really hard to narrow down the pictures because we had tons of good ones :)
Anyhow...
Our Redang Holiday - Day 1 (22nd February, 2008)
Drew hasn't been on a plane since he was SIX so you can only imagine how JAKUN he was...
Jakun over the table.
Jakun over the seatbelt.
Jakun over the window. Wah, his face... quite...
T_T
Took off at 7.05am! Yawn!
The rising sun.
The pretty, fluffy clouds!
We arrived less than 45 minutes later at the Kuala Terengganu Airport where Laguna sent us a bus to bring us to the Jetty!
In the bus...
Sheng & Jean.
King & Richard.
Sonzy.
Front: Aaron & Ju. Middle: Andrew & Me. Back: Sheng & Jean.
And after another less than 45 minutes, we arrive at Laguna Jetty!
Laguna Redang Island Resort Jetty.
We lingered around while waiting for the 10am speedboat to arrive and discovered some stalls selling food, beverages & some trinklets.
Stocked up on our water and snacks and something caught Son & Jean's attention!
The multi-purpose straw hat.
Trying to make the pink straw hat work but failed miserably.
Our little farmer. Haha.
Mana tahu, our two darlings actually bought the multi-purpose straw hat!!
Our fisherman friends.
The camera crew.
LOL. Fisherpeople at work.
HAHAHA. I can't believe my girls got suckered into doing that pose!! HEHEH. They look sooooo darn funny and adorable.
Four of us & a sleeping Marcus.
And at 10am sharp, a little speedboat picked us up...
Marc, Ren, Motion-Sick-Drew & Sheng.
Mind, we left the jetty less than 5 minutes only. Poor Drew.
Brian a.k.a Richard, King & Shaun.
The four of us again!
The seas were still pretty rough and the tide was low so the little speedboat was necessary to bring us out to the open sea to transfer us to the bigger speedboat.
The larger speedboat was nice, huge & air-conditioned but the rough seas made us all queasy (you can only imagine what Andrew had to go through) so we chilled at the highest level of the boat to get some air.
Jean & Sheng.
The four of us & the big blue! The view was soooooo pretty.
The big blue.
After a disastrous over an hour boat ride (I actually puked once & poor Drew puked NINE times), we FINALLY reached our island!!
BUTTT... we still had to take a lil' tram to our Hotel.
Riding on the tram.
SO..
After travelling for roughly 4 hours via LAND, SKY & WATER, we finally... FINALLY...

ARRIVED:
Laguna Resort @ Redang Island!
Our rooms were pretty awesome too! And we had the luxury of having 2 persons to a room!
Drew all snugged up already. He needed rest badly, that poor boy.
Part of the loo. Didn't seem appropriate to add in the toilet bowl, haha.
And off we were to have some lunch!
Me & Ju at the upper floor terrace.
Me & King.
Greedy King.
L-R: King, Ju, Me, Richard, Shaun & Aaron.
The fab view from our dining area.
After a good lunch, we had some rest and soon enough, were ready to hit the pool for some tanning!
The large pool.
The baby pool.
Sonzy, Jeanie & Me!
Soaking up the sun!
Poser sial.
Posers sial.
After tanning, what better way then to cool off with a yummy coconut drink!
And then, it was time to HIT THE BEACH!!!
Yipeeeeee!!
Wooooowwwieeeee!!
Stupid King was so lousy that he failed miserably trying to capture us three in the air! Only I, with the power photography skills, managed to snap these pics.
And if you're wondering why Ju & Aaron were M.I.A, well, they took a longer than usual nap ;) Heheheh.
No laaa. I'm sure they were both just really tired.
Me & Drew :)
You have GOT to check out these awesome waves:
HUGE!! The fun part was, it was not too big that we would all have drowned but it was huge enough for us to spend 3 hours playing with the waves, haha.
Richard, King, Marcus, Shaun, Sheng & the killer wave!!
Me!
Me & Jean & the lil' float that Jean brough along! Haha. That float was the BEST thing that was brought along. We had soooooo much fun with the float. The substitute for a surfboard.
Check out this vid of us trying to work the float as a surfboard!
(Mind, it was our first few attempts, later on, we got really good but my cam batt died on us so didn't get a chance to make a video by then)
Hahaha! It was sooooo much fun! Did you see the crazy wave that threw me off? It came so fast I didn't know what hit me. I didn't even have time to scream!
Riding the waves!
Craze.
Spot me. Haha!
Richard, Shaun, Me, Drew, Jean & Sheng!
Group picture!
Our shadows.
The sunset :)
And by the time it was dark, we headed off to wash up and to grab some dinner.
Drew & I camwhoring. Hehe.
Having dinner!
Jean's fork looks as though it's up her nose but she insisted she was pointing the fork to the cam. You decide ;) Haha.
And that about wraps up our first day in Redang!
Good night, y'all!!
Stay tuned for more :)

As much as I want to remain happily blissfully hypnotized by all of the bikini pics, there's something about "the rising sun" pic that just does it for me. Kodos to the photographer.
after i watched the video, together with the song in it, it made me feel as if i was there to have fun with the waves! lol :P
how many days you went there for?
hello, just out of curiosity - what camera are you using? i remember you saying it can take underwater pictures as well... ultra cool
cool. quick write the part III
Dean: Haha! Really? Cause I WAS THE PHOTOGRAPHER!! Hehehehe. Andrew was busy jakun-ing with the window so I had to take picture of the sunrise meself ;)
Pikyie: Glad could make you feel good then! Only for 3 days 3 nights :( Definitely not enough.
Anonymous: I'm using a u 770 sw! Yep, up to 33 feet deep!
