Sorry for the empty updates. Can't say I was busy because I really wasn't, haha! Just was kinda lazing around, enjoying being home in Malaysia as much as possible plus, waiting for some serious blog renovation to be done ;) Anyway, I actually edited quite a bit of pictures (family portraits & my 21st) but it was to fit the new layout, which won't be done until next week so I had to dig out later stuff to blog. Bangkok (28th of Feb - 2nd of March, 2009)A rather brief update of my 4 days and 3 nights in Bangkok. (might've been bit lazy to edit all 247 pics taken on that trip...) Arrival @ Bangkok and already feeling the patriotism in the first cab we went in.
 Lena & Nick.
See, Bri? I really was telling the truth about me buying that FHM mag for you. I just totally forgot to bring it back, heh.
 Westin Executive Floor, babbyyyy.
 Our roommm!
 Pretty awesome.
Headed to the street market. Forgot the name of this one. It ain't Suan Lum (don't know how to spell) so... it's... bah, can't remember.
Street pad thai is always a winner. Yummiest pad thai ever. The whole being on the streets, walking, and eating probably gave a lot of extra taste and feel to the meal.
Went to have more supper at this quaint restaurant with uber low ceilings and interesting trinklets of deco.Next day... Taking the skytrain to our first shopping venue, Platinum Mall!
 Me & Nick.
On our way back with the Tuk-Tuk (this one was helluva driver!) with a tukload of shopping! Ah, the joy of cheap shopping :)Later that night, after our soothing thai and oil massage... We hit the streets of Suriwong! Erik had his very first taste of 'em candymen. It was pretty brutal actually... they're a real eye-opener; these shows.
Day after... Another shopping trip, this time, at Chak-Tuk-Chak. You'd think most of those bags belong to Lena and Me... think again (Erik *cough* Erik).
That night... Ready for some partying.
 We hit the famous Sirocco.
The view never fails to amaze me.
 Erik & Lena.
After some drinks, we headed close to RCA for some dinner.
And then to Route 66 for clubbing! I LOVE this club's taste in R&B music. It was awesome. On our last day... Did more shopping in Siam square and MBK Mall and the Bazaar.
And pretty much wrapped up that night!Basically, we did a lot of shopping, eating, and experiencing the more interesting bits and pieces of Bangkok! Labels: Bangkok

The 5th and Final Day in Bangkok!Lunch & Shopping @ MBK Mall, Riding on a Tuk-Tuk & Going Home (17th December, 2007)Last minute shopping in MBK Mall! Our Saviour. Sigh, what would we do without him? After finishing up the remaining $$$ that we had left (leaving very minimal for food and other necessities), we went to have our lunch at the Ground Floor food court! Beef Ball Noodle Soup.
It was really tasty but also a really teensy portion! So I had to have seconds! My second dish. Some Clear Soup Chicken Thingy.I'm a pig I know. Deez & Jin ordered some fried meatballs. The serving is adorable, isn't it? On a little sampan.
Jin & Deez. Me & Joh.
After lunch, we went to do manicures! So cheap! RM20/= for French Manicure & Pedicure!!And they don't care how short your nails are! They'll still can do it. I know plenty nail salons that go on about how they won't do it if your nails are too short. Pfft. Not pro enough just say it! My nails are mostly kept pretty short because I can't have long nails playing golf see. My French Manicure! And Pedicure!I had barely any nail left on my baby toe but heck, they managed to do it still! And a pretty decent job too! Being the last day in Bangkok as well as being the pigs we are, we just HAD to go back to our favourite food court in MBK Mall (the 5th or 6th floor food court) and order our favourites! Vietnamese Beef Ball Noodles. LOVE THIS SHITE!!
Best Mango Stick Rice EVERRR!!!
And since Guo Jin has never ridden on a Tuk-Tuk before, we went to catch one back to the hotel! Deez & Me on the Tuk-Tuk! Me & the First-Timer! Tuk-Tuk Driver. And here's a little video for you to share a little Tuk-Tuk experience with us! Not much but what the heck:
Riding on a Tuk-Tuk!And later that night, we headed for home :( Boooo! I loveee Bangkok. Don't want to leave!Well, was kinda out of cash already anyway. Plus, don't wanna neglect Andrew and would miss him and my girls too much so it's all good! At the airport... Lena, Candice, Guo Jin, Me & Joh.And it's off for home we goooooooo!! SO LONG, BANGKOK!!KOPKUNKAAAAAAA!!! Labels: Bangkok

4th Day in Bangkok!Shopping @ Platinum, Dinner @ Greyhound Cafe & Drinks @ Gotcha (16th December, 2007)We went back to Platinum Mall again! But this time, we were more systematic. We made sure we've walked every darn corner of the shopping mall as to not miss anything!! It was all good fun but madly tiring. I felt feverish soon enough (didn't know it yet but my wisdom tooth decided to grow on me) and had a splitting headache but persevered until the end! Thanks to some good 'ol Panadol and our cheapo but happening massage, I felt oodles better came dinnertime! Deez & Me ready for some good Full-Body Thai Massage! Jin & Joh on the other side!It may look a little dodgy but it sure didn't look that way in the dark! Haha. Joh the Masseur.
Me the Masseuse.Went back to the hotel to get ready for Dinner @ Greyhound Cafe. Apparently a restaurant situated at a place known to be the "Bangsar" of Bangkok. Posh area with celebrities and boutiques as well as expensive food etc etc. Dolling up!
 Dinner @ Greyhound Cafe.
 Jin, Candice, Me & Joh.
Appetizer. I'm not sure what it is actually. Was Vincent's order.
Joh & Me shared the Mussel & Clam Soup. Not precisely sure what it's actually called.
The Lasagne I ordered. It wasn't too bad.... after adding a bucket of tabasco sauce! Was pretty dry.
Candice's Elvis Burger. It's just a normal beef burger but it's really good! The beef is juicy and tender.
Joh's... Seafood Spaghetti Thingy in Spicy Sauce. Oh wait, Jin ordered the same thing. Was so-so. Nothing to shout about. After dinner, Vincent brought us to a Coyote Bar.Ever watched Coyote Ugly? Girls dancing on bars in skimpy clothing? Same concept. Gotcha!
L-R: Vincent, Lena, Candice, Me, Jin & Joh.
A glimpse of the half-naked REAL girls. Not ladyboys.
Honestly, if they WERE ladyboys... they'd be 10 times hotter without a doubt. They all can really dance though!
The girl on the right... I swear, her boobs are as big if not BIGGER than her head!! Candice says I'm exaggerating but honest!! If you saw it, you'd completely agree!! You can't tell from the pic but seriously.... HUGE JUGS GOING ON. You just don't focus on the face or the dancing anymore.
Simon, Calvin & Alan (and the Coyote Chicks as backdrop).
 3 of us.
 Alan & Me.
 Alan, Jin & Deez.
Ginger (Vincent's... ahem...), Vincent, Me & Joh.
Mind, they aren't prostitutes or anything. They're job is to dance on the bars and to have drinks with customers. As for sleeping with them, it's entirely up to the girls! FYI, on Saturday night, the girls dance TOPLESS!!! It was a Sunday.....And after the Coyote experience, we headed for home and before tucking in for bed, did a few photoshoots of our own! Haha. We is loving to take picturesssss. They are ready for Wedding shoots lor!
 Solo photoshoot.
Sisters for life! Literally. I haven't got a choice. HEHEHEHE!! Jokingggg. I love her oodles :))That's it for now!PS, I've got tonnnnsssss to update so stay tuneeeddddddd!!!! Labels: Bangkok
