Bali - Day 2 - Part I (23rd January, 2009)

Did quite a bit of radical stuff even though it was just the three of us (can you imagine if the four of us hit Bali?) so I had to split it into 2 parts!

Here goes!

Started our day bright and early!

Travelled a couple of hours to a LIVE volcano site for lunch.

Imagine if it decided to erupt 0_o

Buffet lunch under the gazebo hut thingy with the view of the volcano.

For some reason, dark thunder clouds just tend to linger around the tip of the volcano... creepy!

Next up, a completely useless stop (we're still spiteful at our driver for bringing us here... and we pity the other tourists that got suckered into coming here by tour guides...) which I clearly remember stopping when I was in Bali 5 years back...

Ubud Palace. Honestly, this picture was about the most decent thing the place had. I'm trying to figure out why tour guides love bringing tourists to this forsaken place. No offense (I know nothing of the history which could possibly be a factor) to the place but... it was a drone.

On the way, we stopped by a better, more interesting place worth spending our RM3 on.

A monument of Bali. It's just this HUGE, rustic, cool-looking building planted in between two football fields.

Hehe.

Work it.

We went in and got drawn to the spiral staircase leading up, up, up!

But wait--

One of us had to be left behind, lol.

The two who passed the test! Haha. That leaves...

Poor Jeanpants... "Now the whole world's gonna know I had my--" HEHE!!

Heheheheh. Couldn't stay for long, didn't wanna keep her waiting.

There was like a little pond in the middle of no-where inside the monument.

Chilling out. It was such a peaceful place, this monument.

Looks almost like a handbag ad ;)

Star jump, baby!

None of them know how to all this type of KENG shots so got no pics of me jumping :(

Yee haw!!

Took a nice stroll on the garden walk that surrounds the monument.

"We love this monument but we don't even know what it's called or why they built it, YAY!!"

Next up--

We had an awesome sunset dinner and some kinkytime all coming up, VERY SOON!!
(hopefully tonight?)

Cheerio!!

Anonymous: It's a REAL handbag, promise. It is used to carry your personal belongings. It is carried in various styles using your hand or arm or shoulder. You may even use it as a weapon of defense. Very convenient things, handbags.

Brian: Hehehhehehehe. We is damn, damn jakun.

Sera: Hmmm, I'm not sure where you can get it from KL actually. That was purchased from Japan.

Anonymous: Yeah, join the club. We tried asking around but nobody gave us a solid answer. Probably some spiritual thing? You know how they always say women with period are "dirtier" etc. Pretty silly if you ask me.
